Hi All! I received a really fun cookbook that I had ordered and was so excited that I did a quick facebook live about it. Pretty sure no one will see my facebook live recording and really wanted to share this with you so here it is. The video speaks to facebook because that’s where it was made. If there isn’t any sound look for the sound box on the recording (bottom right hand corner), you might have to click the sound on.
I saw some people mention this cookbook on Twitter so I looked it up. It sounded interesting and the tweets I read seem to indicate that it was pretty cool. It is cool! I’m always looking for things that will make my life easier and help my clients out when it comes to sticking with their lifestyle changes. Always having good food around and ideas about what to make is a huge help. This cookbook makes it hard to claim that you just don’t know what to eat ; ) Hopefully the video is clear and you get what makes the cookbook different and fun (it’s a flip book!)
I mentioned “brain-cramp” in my title because that’s often how I feel when it’s dinner time and I have to think of something to make. TOTAL BLANK. The fun, flip-book style of this cookbook really eliminates the idea of “no idea”. Playing around with the different categories creates many, many meal options/ideas.
I’m going to put a link to the cookbook below but before I do I need to include my disclaimer: I recently signed up to be an Amazon.com affiliate which means, links that I put in my blog posts are more than likely affiliate links. What’s that mean? Well, at no additional cost to you, I will earn a small commission if you click through one of my links and make a purchase. No pressure, you can certainly skip my link and search Amazon on your own or buy from your favorite retailer. If you do click through, thank you! Thank you for your support, I truly appreciate it : )

If you end up buying the book please comment below and let me know what you think. It does follow the guidelines that I tend to talk through with my clients: low-carb(ish), grain-free(ish), gluten-free(ish) and more. I like that it gives “net carb” counts for each item. I suspect that more often than not my family will probably just go with the protein and veggie option and skip the starchier piece of the plate. Actually, I’m almost positive that will be the case because I’m the one cooking ; )
Be well,
